When eating out at a Chinese restaurant, one of our favourite dishes is short soup. Cooking it from scratch at home is a bit daunting, but Cros has created this Cheat's version, put together in just a few minutes, using commercial stock powder and frozen dumplings from the supermarket or Asian grocer.
Not quite as good as the authentic product, but very tasty and on the table quicker than you can drive to the local Chinese restaurant.
1.5 teaspoons Won Ton Soup Base Mix
2 cups water
8 dumplings
1 spring onion, finely sliced
Light soy sauce
The soup stock mix is available from your local Asian grocer
